Senior Backend Engineer (Go)
We are developing the next generation of a web scraping platform with new high-scale product endpoints that are designed using Go. We are seeking a strong backend engineer who is eager to transition to Go, considers AI tools essential in their development process, and enjoys tackling significant challenges at scale.

Your responsibilities:
- Design and develop new backend services and product endpoints with a preference for Go.
- Collaborate with our existing Node.js/TypeScript core as new components are developed in Go.
- Write clear, well-tested, and documented code that provides tangible business value.
- Work alongside engineers to influence architectural decisions and conduct peer reviews of each other's work.
Your experience or skills:
- Over 5 years of experience in backend development using any programming language.
- Hands-on experience with Go is preferred, or a strong motivation to learn and build with it.
- A solid understanding of distributed systems and experience building applications that can scale.
- You regularly use AI coding tools (such as Claude, Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or similar) in your daily workflow, and you are curious about the role of AI in production systems beyond just your coding environment.
- A proactive mindset with a sense of ownership, and proficiency in both English and Lithuanian.
Nice to have:
- Proficient in React and JavaScript to visualize backend logic.
- Skilled in utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration.
- Experienced in leading research and development initiatives and introducing new technologies or AI tools.
Salary:
Gross salary: from 5800 EUR/month.
Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
